Artist Statement
My work to date has been predominantly collaborative, working with other digital media artists, visual artists, sculptors, dance choreographers and filmmakers. I have created new works for performance or installation that have been pre-produced, generated in a live environment, automated and/or interactive. My work focuses on the relationship between digital artwork and the viewer and aims to play with the viewers perceptions through suggested realities, interactivity, video, audio and animation. Inspiration comes from classic stories and imagery as much as from my surroundings and contemporary culture. I am in the process of moving to Bristol and sourcing studio space in which to develop my own practice.

Digital Media Coordinator
Digital Media Coordinator at Exeter Phoenix Digital since 2005, working with companies, digital media artists, filmmakers and animators on a large number of corporate, academic and arts projects.
Jointly responsible for commissioning numerous filmmakers of varying skill levels, acting as Executive Producer, Trainer, Editor, Special Effects Supervisor, Crane Op, DOP/Camera and Animator. Films produced have included Digital Shorts, commissioned in partnership with South West Screen and UK Film Council and several films that have gone on to win or be short listed for awards including, Cannes Short Film Corner, Virgin Media Shorts, Media Innovation Awards, Encounters Fresh Flix Award.
Responsible for the development of the Exeter Phoenix Digital website and social networking strategy, production support of new digital media art commissions and the development of a feasibility study as the first stage of the development of a new carbon-neutral media centre at Exeter Phoenix.
